Jeez, that was a long two and a half minutes.Don't hate me?

Seldom have I been bored, and aroused, at the same time.
You're aroused by Naomi Judd impersonators?
Apparently! And doing the math she'd only be 49 today! Possibly after several bad marriages, and a short stint in soft core porn, a mid-level bidness professional like myself might look good to her! Do you think she still has the costume?
You beat me to it but I was going to add this .It's a scholarship program..just quoting Miss congeniality.
It doesn't make sense to continue putting anyone (males or females) on display to perpetuate the perception that outer beauty is more important than other qualities. I'm sure the beauty business would survive without beauty pageants. What is even worse to me are the pageants that involve children--the ones with toddlers and kids younger than teenagers--and the parents who encourage their children to be in them. The beauty business is a $445 billion competitive industry. I wouldn’t make sense not to have a big name recognition beauty contest.
Shut down the beauty industry and just concentrate on other qualities rather than outer beauty, then? What are you including in "beauty industry"? Can't really answer the question without knowing we're not talking apples and oranges.Shut down the beauty industry and just concentrate on other qualities rather than outer beauty, then? Like what?
Not fond of children pageants, either. Little kids don't need beauty enhancements.
I believe the beauty industry consists of products ranging from fragrances, color cosmetics, hair, beauty features, skin care, body care, and then some. Basically the kinds of products that concentrate on improving outward beauty. What are you including in "beauty industry"? They could follow the example of Dove which has had a very successful ad campaign of inclusiveness of all shapes and sizes of real women.I believe the beauty industry consists of products ranging from fragrances, color cosmetics, hair, beauty features, skin care, body care, and then some. Yes, it was a niche cause marketing scheme that peaked and then crashed. Sales initially increased by 20% with media attention, but eventually went flat because of traditional outward beauty advertising, and that ‘Campaign for Real Beauty’ of Dove was retired. Outward beauty of women has been idolized for thousands of years. And it's not going away anytime soon. They could follow the example of Dove which has had a very successful ad campaign of inclusiveness of all shapes and sizes of real women.
