....beg pardon???....

I was referring to the original muscle car era Mopar. Super cars like the Viper obviously handle well. I'd still take a Z04 Corvette over the Viper....

I wish I had that. I'd sell it and buy 7 more Ford Focus Wagons! (And bank what's left over) I can get 3 coffee tables in the back of this thing!

The GOAT is pretty. But for what you'd pay for that, you could buy a 'Cuda body! Not 100%, but still twice the car.

Man. Majestic! Or I'd throw in a few extra $$ and spurge for a running 1971 AMC Matador.

Jezus! What a land yacht! But as classics go, nothing beats my old Plymouth Reliant wagon. Handed down from my mom. Virtually indestructible. And I tried.

Wow - I had a 77 Plymouth Volare in green (four door) that looked quite similar to the car in the video :grinning:

My first car and it was like a tank!

What is it with you Mopar guys? Yeah, straight line acceleration is great but throw in a turn and you are all done......

It's called compression! When I first saw this I cried a little bit.

Mopars just grab you somehow. 'More Power'! In my teens I worked in a garage and this guy who looked like a redneck Philip Seymour Hoffman, but younger, fatter, and with long hair dumped a bunch of his Mopar magazines on me, and got me hooked. Until the Ford Wagon, I hadn't owned a non-Chrysler product in 20 years! Their history is so Shakespearean. Jerked from the brink of demise by the K Car. I love that even at the brink, in 1981, they were able to produce a limo -- The Executive! A 5-seater stretched Plymouth Reliant frame, with a 2.6-liter Mitsubishi 4-cylinder engine and 93 horsepower. That's just a lovely image. The audacity! The Ford has softened me a bit, but I still hate classic Mustangs with a passion -- and Kolchak, The Night Stalker drove one! It must have been a too good to pass up deal. Like my Focus.

Absolutely!

Thought I’d better get that in toot sweet before she gets her panties all in a wad again because no one concurred. This girl is sometimes higher maintenance than a beauty pageant contestant. :)

I see what you did there :p

While I might be higher maintenance, I'm too smart, and far too clumsy to be a contestant in a beauty pageant..... :facepalm_smiley:

I'm hereby commandeering this thread. Ain't gonna talk about Miss America, or muscle cars, or...

Wait, is that Kolchak up there? Dude, I SO have to buy that series. They had the whole schmere for sale at the Brawlmart for, like, 20 bones.

If you're willing to brave the walmartians, the Firestick goes for $40. I can watch every episode & both movies! I have the dvds. :) It's just that g-d awful opening the case, pulling the disc from it's den without snapping it in two, gingerly rodgering said disc onto the frail plastic gizmo on your player, then later going thru the whole process backwards -- and forwarding thru the crummy previews, ads & menus you get with a dvd has become anathema to me. I won't do it anymore! Now back to out feature presentation.

The first 20 seconds ... heart rending.
