I doubt my sister would've given it to me if she had known. It does explain a lot of my bad luck in my last year of college and for 5 years after that. My sister's whole wedding seemed off. So many things went wrong. They divorced less than 5 years later. It's a lovely stone despite the folklore. One fellow on youtube specializes in (gasp!) opal engagement rings.

With the common theme surrounding ranting about my first world problems today, the right side of my bluetooth earbuds got a small knot in it, so now the spring loaded function where the right ear bud collapses back into the neckpiece won’t work

So I wait through months of rain and snow during which I was on the computer a lot and something more than the usual 35 years' worth of problems went wrong with my right hand. (This. Dupuytren's contracture - Symptoms and causes And yes, I had been complaining of a stabbing pain between my two middle fingers for years before the middle finger bent so it won't close or straighten.) So by the time I got out in the garden everything pretty much exploded at once and no matter how much I do where doesn't make a dent in it and everyone who was ever any help is moved away, retired, or dead, and did I mention my hand hurts. My cousin promoted some CBD oil which I purchased. My hand never stopped hurting but everything else improved enough so I was able to do things I hadn't thought of in years! The CBD oil was expensive and unfortunately I let it run out but then EVERYTHING hurt SO MUCH I figured I'd better order it again. I found a place that sold it for less (still a lot) and thought I had ordered, but after waiting in agony found the order was not completed so had to complete it and am still waiting while my hand and numerous other things hurt. Hawaiian BioAstin helped for awhile, but also expensive and by the second bottle I figured it didn't justify the expense so stopped getting it. I have the sinking feeling this may happen with the CBD oil and then don't know what to do. My hand won't close and I can scarcely hold a pen, and there's all this stuff I have to do or something awful will happen, and did I mention my hand hurts? I made an appointment with a specialist but he can't see me till mid-July, so I dunno, I try to do all these projects but I get so tired sometimes it is hard to get out of bed and I feel bad so I try to do more and then I feel worse. Can't win!
