I just wish that the people who choose to ride bicycles in the early morning before the sun has come up would wear reflectors or a lighter colour of coat.

Driving to work in the morning there are times when you do not see them until you are right behind them. The roads are awfully slippery here in the winter.

I have 2 winter coats, a dark green parka and a navy blue parka :) I look like a tool in light coloured coats. I can only think of 2 coats since I was a teenager that weren't dark, 1 was red, the other was stone/cream.

I don't cycle on the roads, only the pavement/sidewalk, but I do have a bright red light on the back just in case.

we get winter from about mid or late November until the spring which comes around April (if we are lucky) so I do not know how they manage to cycle without slipping.
