Word Picture.

Good Saturday evening.

I have been told I paint a wonderful word picture. I didn't know what *word picture* meant but I kinda/sorta understood it from the context. Here, the definition

Okay, I get it but I don't do it on purpose.

The other day, we were talking about pie. Pie. A student said she did not like pie and when the teacher asked why, the student said, It doesn't feel good in my mouth. It's not good.

I, also, do not like pie for the same reason the student stated. Pie does not feel *good* in my mouth, my tongue. For me, the texture is ..off. The texture.

I have only tried fruit pie once. It was an apple pie. I did not like it and I'll tell why.

The apple pie looked and smelled delicious and I was all happy to chow down but

in my mouth...there was some kind of mucous? Sauce? Phlegm? with chunks of apple. Little and medium chunks of apple in viscous fluid.

Apple pie---when you have a stomach flu but don't know it... yet. You eat an apple and drink a Sprite and an hour later you throw up apple pie.

There's a place we all come to. To share a laugh and a few tears, to worry about some going through some fears . Whether it be Mother Nature or of a more personal nature, we listen, we write and post a pic or two if it seems right. Not sure what i'd do if I lost touch with so many, Thank God I found my home, my feelings are plenty. To my friends and others here on the board thank you so much my outlook has soared!

I feel this way about anything with canned cherries. Fresh cherries - yum, but canned?? Oh gawd no.
