From a Buick 8 did not have too many references, if memory serves. Just a really screwed up imagery of what you may find in The Mist.

You might be right but I feel the irrational urge to say stop.
I've read both books and it's been a while so I don't mean to offend but please, take a step back and think about where you are and to whom you are responding. I'm probably the fool for saying this but can you screw up imagery any better? I never will.
If memory serves, Stephen King authored these books and I thought he was a human being with an ego like the rest of us.

Most of em you can read stand alone, a'yuh. But, if'n ya ain't read the Dark Tower books yet, I'd advise yez to read Salem's Lot before you start Roland's quest. And The Stand, I guess. You don't have to, but it makes for a much better read, do ya.
