If you were fundraising for a charity and a donor said that they would make a substantial donation if you performed in the fundraising show, would you? What would you perform? How much would the donation have to be to get you to do this? Assume an audience of about a thousand.

I'll go first (obviously). Yes, I would for a donation of $5K or more. I would either do a hula dance or play one of the few songs I can play on my guitar.

Yes, depending what the fundraising was( I wouldn't do it for no political party for instance). I would do a magic act as I used to do magic tricks at parties, etc.

Ohmygosh, it doesn't matter what I'd decide to perform cause once I got in front of a thousand people I'd totally freeze. I'd have to be carried off the stage lol

One of my previous bands organized a fundraiser right after 9/11 for NY Firefighters and NY police officers. We filled the club (capacity of 400). Not quite a thousand people but still a big crowd. Especially in a small space!

I'd do it (I did quite a bit of fundraising for a local organization that helped special needs kids/adults).
Depending on the amount of the donation, I'd do pretty much whatever they asked me, within legal/moral limits, of course.
The biggest donation I ever arranged from a single donor was $5K. I didn't have to perform for it, I think it was more or less a tax deduction for him.

Depends on fundraiser- for critters, absolutely. No politics.
Donation- an amount that would make a difference to the organization.
Could do a crafting demonstration.

For $2,500 my friend Laura and I could do our stand up comedy act. We talk about people we know and use anecdotes from our personal lives. Laura and I have known each other about 25 years, and have had some quite hilarious encounters.
