Is this fake or what? Who takes a video of a pregnant woman on the way to the hospital? No disrespect but it seems somewhat staged to me - sorry!

Why do people insist on filming every single thing that happens? The video does not bother me - it just seems creepy (and her husband is laughing at the end) - "I wonder if we still have to pay for using the Birth Centre?"

I was in a washroom yesterday and there was a girl taking a selfie. I was there to use the washroom but I felt I had to wait for her to leave, as the way she was positioned it looked like she could see me through the crack in the door!
Well, I guess if it's gonna happen anyway, why not film it? People film the births of their babies all the time.
I think he was making light in order to keep her calm.

Probably just in a crummy mood today - sorry! I must have been a quiet 'deliverer' - not once did I scream the way she did in that video (but I had extremely easy births, knock on wood).

I have seen a lot of fresh from the womb newborns and that looks like the real deal to me.

Very nice, by the way, that she had such an easy birth - I wonder if it was her first baby or her second?
I know I sound like I am ranting up above, so I apologize. Maybe I need to take a walk in the sunshine or something! :bee::laugh:
It said it was her 3rd child I believe. It was a 10 pounder too. That would explain the screaming.

I screamed my head off for two of them. The third was such an easy birth, I felt so good afterwards, I felt like I could get up and do laps. No lie.

Shoot fire, tweren't nuthin. Mama Muskie birthed me BEHIND the wheel of a 75 Chevy Silverado three-on-the-tree stick shift rollin about sixty round a curve. Drunk.

Brilliant.

Well my momma gave birth to me whilst single handedly flying a Boeing 747 jet through a volcano and teaching the air stewardess Mongolian. She didn't even scream, instead channeling her vocals into recording the first draft of Jagged Little Pill that Alanis Morissette then stole (though it does explain the warbling).

Admittedly I only have her word for it and now that I write it down it does seem a little suspect.

We felt we were close to that, but that was another story.

The third one, the baby was crowning in the "labor room," no one around, and I was looking for a towel, or a basket, or a catcher's mitt....

And all of that made me feel very, very glad that I was the man. There's no doubt that we have the easy part in this whole process. Yow.

You can say that again. Mad respect to you ladies who have or will give birth. What a weird, wonderful thing it is. This also makes me realize that no one can truly care for another person like a woman can. The sacrifice and commitment this demands is something that comes from a place men don't truly understand.

...I was present for the birth of both of my son's...the mini-yeti's...and a more wonderful and treasured experience I cannot recall, unless it was the unicorn breath scent of your flowing locks....

We've had three. The first, six hours labor for her. The second, three hours labor. The third, hour and a half. I joked (but half serious) that we couldn't have another because 45 minutes wouldn't be enough time to get to the hospital. She's Earth Mom too. Nada on drugs. Flat turned them down.
