Said pen is held by the person signing unlike the autograph machine. :smile2: That's what the people are really seeking--the autograph is more of a representation of something that that person had a physical connection with and I don't think giving the machine a pat every so often counts.

Hello,

I am a new member to the board. I would like to send a letter to Mr. King to personally thank him for helping save my life. I recently attempted suicide. it is very important to me to get my message to Mr. King as this could help many others.

First, welcome to the Board and I'm glad you're still with us! I saved the PDF with your letter and will forward it on to Steve though I can't promise he'll read it or respond as he stopped doing that sort of thing decades ago.
