LOL, I doubt they'd get the letter. I think they have been on perpetual tour for years. "Every girl is crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man".....and that deep blues guitar rift...those guys know how to bring it.

Okay, here is the lawfirm that represented them in a suit against Chrysler using their songs. Write to ZZ top c/o this attorney. His address shouldn't be too hard to find, pick the office that you think has the best chance of getting it to them.

Upon further review of this thread, I have to apologize everyone. I posted my ZZ Top story in this thread but it really doesn't belong here....I think I thought I was in another thread...sorry about that everyone. I'd ask one of the mods to move the story but I really don't know where the hell to ask for it to go....not sure how I rationalized posting a story about meeting ZZ Top as a kid in the personal note thread...Ms. Mod, I think I'm officially senile....sorry about this....Is there a thread called "ghost19 manages to ramble on again about stuff no one cares about?"...lol

No, it works just fine here. Lots of personal stories of brushes with interesting famous and infamous people. So it's all good. And then of course, I have to harass everyone to write these people personal notes!

Okay, if you look at this link, she will be at the MGM Grand April 7th. If you get a note out to her NOW, and send it to this hotel (just look up the MGM address)--chances are they will put it in her inbox and might hand it to her as she checks in. This is how I wrote Don Rickles. He will be at Firekeeper's Casino on April 5th in Battle Creek, MI.

I've never written to famous people...although I've left notes all over the place...where I've worked...Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota...say I'm waiting for the crane to lift another truss up onto the walls, maybe I'm riding the middle of the last truss we've installed, and I jot a note down that may never be read...nothing major...always a date, time if I think of it...words of warning maybe...someone needs to provide Billy Ray Cyrus with a lifetime supply of condiments!...Stardate: 1 APR 97...and then here comes the next truss so I tuck my pencil back in my apron. Been doing this since I was a kid, nothing flashy like graffiti...and this once, I made the mistake of writing on the bathroom wall...on the Sheetrock...before the old man had a chance to cover it up with the Marlite he installed later...my name lived here, 10/15/67 and my Uncle Dan saw it...musta been getting the tour of the work-in-progress, the bathroom, not my note, and he misread it, out loud..."Walter Oobleck loved here?" He stopped at that point, his finger pressed to the Sheetrock, and I'm cringing red-faced over by the bannister. I'd also draw these MAD magazine faces, Alfred if I had time, or just the standard...Dan Martin?...face. 'Bout as close as I can find...
