AND, I would just like to say:

I received a very extraordinary letter today from one of Queen Elizabeth's lady's-in-waiting. Buckingham Palace seal and everything! Come on Gary Busey! (lol!)
Queen Elizabeth rocks! That letter is a definite keeper!

I think she is pretty cool! :chuncky:

I did but have not heard anything back.
Anything yet?

I got a promotional card from Lisa See's mom today. This is the fifth bit of correspondence I have gotten from Carolyn see.

I also had one of my cards returned to me today~ Dick Cavett. He isn't dead, is he? I will try a different address for him.

I haven't heard a peep out of anyone else. Which makes me a little discouraged. I mean, the Queen's lady in waiting wrote back for cryin' out loud, so I would think I would get some more responses! I know not everyone has a fleet of people writing notes for them, but I would just think I would get a few more notes.

I need to do this to some people in my life - it keeps nagging at me to write my old bosses - 2 of them - they were partners in a firm together. They saved me from a wreck of a job. They were so kind and taught me so many things. I remember my interview with them - I had to make early in the morning so I could get to my job, at the time, on time - but that interview changed my life. My job at the time had ruined me - my hair was falling out, I was way overweight, my fashion was horrible. But those two saw beyond all that, took me on for my knowledge of the architectural industry, took a chance on me and that moment with them changed my entire life. I bet they'd like to know that. I left the job 7 years into it to stay home with a baby, and then had another. Anyhow, I should write them. I think I'd feel better if I did.

You must. We need to let people know when they have made a difference in our lives. It's imperative! I would love to get an out-of-the-blue note telling me how I helped or made a difference to someone. I think that would be the highest honor I could get. Do it Holly, let them know.
