That was horrible. Sweet of the rhino, but we never see the ending here. Obviously this gnu was very injured as it couldn't stand up even that close to the bank. gah!

I know, it was like Mr. Hippo was saying, "It's OK buddy, you're going to be fine, just take a nap, help is coming" and hopefully soon Mr. Gnu saw the clearing at the end of the path. It was bittersweet.

Or, I'll try to be positive, maybe after that battle he was exhausted and just needed to rest. And then he jumped up and ran to his family in a field of flowers and Walking on Sunshine played in the background. Yep. That's what happened.

I read the article .... the gnu got up later and made it to safety ...
