So it's the world of Ray Bradbury in Farenheit 451 and you've been chosen to be one of the book people. So what book do you choose to memorize for all mankind? I got dibs on the book used in the novel "Tales of Mystery & Imagination" by EAP. So what book would you choose? (Buen suerte to those who choose "The Stand")

Harold and His Purple Crayon.
Or maybe John...one that I have a good start on already.
Or the Book of Job.
Or the Odyssey...a story that I understand had been passed down orally before it was written...
Or just the conversation and dialogue a bunch of readers exchanged about a particular story...any story...what that story meant to them so on so forth and scoobie doobie doo.

You forced me to look up this book. Thanks! Always ready to broaden my literary horizons. It sounds like a book worth preserving :)

It's a book for the young, but it's a wonderful story and I have absolutely wonderful memories of it. And it contains many lessons to learn.
