Hola!

Well, that was an awkward thread title. Ha!

What I mean, what movies did your child(ren) watch and pick up a song in the movie that they enjoyed and sang? (Crud. That explanation wasn't much better.)

One of my son's favorite movie was "Pooh's Grand Adventure" and this is the song he loved and sang.

In fact, we both loved it so much, we have a *code* word (from the song) we call each other when we are in need of love and reassurance- "Forever". (Cool, huh?)

Another, from "The Fox and The Hound" .

If anyone can figure out what the heck I mean, please share.

Peace.

I know what you mean. Nostalgia. My daughter was just 2 when Aladdin came out - "You Ain't Never Had a Friend Like Me" was her favorite, and she sang it all the time with her pacifier between her teeth. Sometimes, when she's being difficult, I say that to her (you ain't never had a friend like me). Brings her back a little, reminds her of simpler, happier times - or aggravates her, which is OK too. :friendly_wink:

Yes, Ma'am. Nostalgia. Thank you.

Was it this one?

Peace.

Ha. Haven't seen Bear in the Big Blue House in years.

~~

My oldest son's favourite was from Annie. At my mom's she would set up a kiddie pool in her yard. When the boys were done we would use buckets to dump the water out, throwing it onto her garden. Ds would sing this song.

I'm slow, so I'll have to post separate for each of my kids.

My "inner child" sings this all the time! ;-D
That was my oldest daughter's favorite song for years, and it's still her favorite Disney movie. I remember pushing her on the swings while we belted that song out together at the top of our lungs :) My younger daughter's favorite was probably "A Girl Worth Fighting For" from Mulan.

My oldest son loved Colors of the Wind from Pocohontas. Youngest son… not sure. He's still little, so he likes a lot of them.

Not Frozen, though--lol. No one here cared much for that movie.

My daughter turned 28 this year but this is still her favorite. She loves that movie and played it over and over back in the day. ;-D I'm going to have to give her the VHS one of these days--it's actually probably a collector's item as it has the infamous artwork. ;)
I still have the VHS too! Forgot about the "artwork" scandal! ;-D
