Well, ya can't just leave us hanging!
I would need about ten or fifteen pages to explain everything in detail ma'am. I'm quite sure the statute of limitations is up being as it was a little over 20 years ago so I think I'm ok on that score. The Tulsa police officers were very cool to my girlfriend and I....lol

"The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something." —Kurt Vonnegut

Love this  It's weird, actually; you posted this quote at a significant time for me, and it's both relevant and profound...Thank you for sharing :tranquillity:

Related note to the OT: Best cover versions, peeps? Nirvana's version of "The Man Who Sold the World" and Amy Winehouse's "Valerie" are up there for me. Probably others too on reflection. Thought it may as well go here :p

Merry Christmas, season's greetings & happy holidays to one & all

I would have thought it was their most well known. Beautiful tune. Enjoy
Possibly. But you see, I am the world's laziest consumer of music. I'm like a music amoeba ... if it floats my way, I will taste it and see if it is to my liking, but I'm not so great at seeking it out, usually. Probably the song I know best of theirs is "Grounds for Divorce."

Considering I'm a serial divorcee, that song has past me by. I'm not exactly the song connoisseur myself, I'm hardly down with the kids.

As an old hippie rocker, as well as a lover of movie musicals, Classical music, and the occasional one-hit wonders and other obscurities, I'd be hard pressed to determine a top 100 list. The Beatles alone would comprise at least 20, I assume. So, here goes...

Beatles: Good Morning Good Morning, You Can't Do That, Taxman, I Am the Walrus, Magical Mystery Tour, Hey Jude, Let it Be, Two of Us, One After 909, Hey Bulldog, I Feel Fine, Back in the USSR, Revolution, Twist and Shout...

I've been listening to a lot of Wings/McCartney's solo stuff. I think I like it better than The Beatles... *gasp*

This is just awesome. Wings, man.

IMO, Paul was at his vocal peak on this tour-- Wings Over America '76. Great show opener. The audio and video aren't exactly synced, but enjoy!

...Get Back, Mother Nature's Son, You Never Give Me Your Money, She Came in Through the Bathroom Window, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With a Little Help from My Friends. That's 20 Beatles. Now Hendrix...

I'm stealing Blunt's idea!

My top 20 Beatles list (in no particular order): Two Of Us, For the Benefit of Mr. Kite!, When I'm 64, Get Back, Let It Be, Oh! Darling, Here Comes the Sun, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Twist and Shout, No Reply, I'm A Loser, Love You To, Tomorrow Never Knows, In My Life, Back in the USSR, She Said She Said, Yer Blues, With a Little Help From My Friends, Hey Jude, Act Natrually.
