Ordered Wizard and Glass and Wolves of the Calla from B&N.com with my 20% off membership coupon. Yay! All the DT books (paperback, at least) have new covers this year bearing the proclamation that it will soon be a major motion picture (!!!) I'm kind of bummed because I have the first 3 as Signet editions, so now they won't be the same. Oh, well. I'll live.

Saw lots of End of Watch at my local B&N store tonight when I went looking for the books mentioned above. I didn't get it, though. Haven't gotten to those books (yet).

Didn't make it to B&N until after 4 p.m. Just like EVERY time in the last four years (no matter what time I get there on release day) only ONE new SK book is missing from the shelf! People around here are so lame. On the bright side, that one other local King fan might be my soul mate. ;)
The rest of those books will be snatched up in no time at all, once the general public realizes that there's a new King book on the shelves.

Not around here they won't. :( All SK books are around long enough to get moved to the back fiction section of older new releases. Makes me sad. Like I said - LAME!!! Their loss! Idiots.

Wh smith had 4 copies, 1 was dirty and one had bent pages. Got one of the 2 clean and tidy ones, as usual half price and collector's edition purple cover.
I wonder what the deal is with dirty covers for EOW? I had to pick past four copies to find one that didn't have any smudge marks on the top front cover when I bought my copy. Anyone else notice this too?

I picked up Horns by Joe Hill today. I'll get to it and Firestarter, after I finish my final 8 King books.

Edit: Fireman, not Firestarter.
What are your final 8 king books? I don't want to, but I reckon I will end up leaving the ones I would consider to be least interesting or appealing to me, things like blaze, dolores claiborne, misery, Christine, Gerald's Game etc. I'd rather give them a go earlier than ending up with a pile of low interest books, but I know this is not likely to be the case.
