What does the box look like? I'll have to pick this up, if it's different than the cemetery dance version.
The box is solid red with white lettering and black raindrops falling down. I'm sure the CD version is the same thing as I don't recall CD saying that they were going to make a special slipcase for this set.

I found a hardcover copy of From A Buick 8, still sealed in plastic, along with the publishers poster. They were on prefect shape. Grabbed it from Goodwill for $2.00.
I know this is sacrilege to you collector's, but I plan on selling the book for much needed extra money.
Jonesy, there's no shame in selling the book. I used to sell King (and other authors) books on Ebay all the time. I financed many vacations that way. I have a bunch of books that I've accumulated over the last 5 years or so that I need to sell on Ebay again. I don't think Steve would frown upon you as long as you've read FAB8.

Betts Books just sold a rare "holy grail" of King collecting. A lettered asbestos copy of Firestarter for $18K! The market for all things King is red hot. I think that is because all the folks who grew up reading his books are now at the height of their purchasing power in their 40s and 50s.
