My latest King themes shopping spree included snagging hardback copies of Insomnia, Black House, Duma Key, Full Dark No Stars, and Lisey's Story. Also picked up a paperback replacement of Black House! Then, on my birthday, I got a package from skimom containing Carrie, The Talisman, and The Regulators!! It was super neat getting that exactly on my day of birth, and even cooler that it was just a coincidence!! Thank you so much, Skimom! You made my birthday even better!:m_adore:

Well, let me start off by saying how embarrassing this is - inexcusable for a SK fan... :a11:

I thought Gwendy's Button Box was only being sold by Cemetery Dance. Couldn't really afford a significant purchase right now with shipping costs, etc. Then I received a mailer from B&N picturing GBB (along with other newly-released novels). What?! The mailer also included a 20% off coupon. Plus, my B&N membership (10% off) is still active and they discount the list price by 20%. So, I was able to buy this $25 book for something like $14.40 plus tax! =D

Am feeling extremely lucky and blessed. I should've researched where it was being sold. Another prime example about assumptions and negative thinking. Learned another lesson. I'm so excited to read the book!

That's quite a deal. Spidey also told me the Kindle edition is available for six bucks for poor folks like me.

Forgot to mention that yesterday the mailman also delivered the PS Publishing edition of Night Shift. It is illustrated by Dave McKean, the same artist for Wizard & Glass. I was hesitant to get it as the artwork in W & G is hard for me to look at as it almost turns my stomach because it's so twisted, but his illo's for Night Shift is great.
