I'm new to this forum, but a long time King fan. My latest King purchase is the hardbound 7 stories that make up Gunslinger Born. I also bought Gwendy's Button Box..waiting for it to be shipped to me.

I re-bought It because I don't want to risk messing up my first edition. I bought it in paperback and am re-reading it.

What are these Nocturnal Boxes of which you speak?

It's one of those speciality loot crate enterprises - this one is focused on horror and the June theme is Stephen King - The Nocturnal Reader's Box - Home

They have a variant cover of Gwendy's Button box.

this seems very interesting, but apparently the boxes being sold out for the month means i can't take any action on the site whatsoever? sign up for alerts, anything? i can't even create an account

Wait til the end of the month when they open it back up for orders for the next month. You might want to order more than one month's

Damn this one is sold out too.
They said some people have cancelled and will be listing those available on the 15th when they bill for the month so you may be able to get one. The theme is "Feast" and is supposed to contain a cool Silence of the Lambs item. I may cancel my sub though. I have too much STUFF already. Lol. I don't know about the King item as KRF mentioned as the email sort of sounded like they were asking the folks who signed up JUST for the King box and then cancelled to stick around and check out the rest of their boxes so could be interpreted a couple of ways. However I may hold on to July to see. Lol

Forgot to mention that yesterday the mailman also delivered the PS Publishing edition of Night Shift. It is illustrated by Dave McKean, the same artist for Wizard & Glass. I was hesitant to get it as the artwork in W & G is hard for me to look at as it almost turns my stomach because it's so twisted, but his illo's for Night Shift is great.
I get all of these PS editions. Some people don't like them but I enjoy the new artwork and think their cool little books. I especially liked how they did Salem's Lot.
I went with the gold one for this. I flipped through it to see McKean's art and I love it.

after watching some videos of unboxings of nocturnal readers, not only do i believe i might be sold for the 6 month package, i find myself disappointed by the things i've missed, such as the dark tower bookmarks and art print, the eat, breathe, read t-shirt, and well, really all the stephen king stuff i've missed, i watched a few videos, but those are what stood out for me. the one who unboxed and found the dark tower stuff didn't recognize what it was, but i didn't feel too bad about her not doing so because i don't always recognize some of their other references in items. the seeming frequency of stephen king related items even when they aren't specifically doing a theme for him makes me happy though. ETA: 1408 keychain, that was another i saw and liked
