Will be interested to hear what you think of it. I've been putting off the reread of the ARC to see if there are still errors from the first draft version as the ending is such a nasty piece of work. Have to do so soon, though, as the window to catch errors is slipping away. If you see any while you're reading, feel free to send me a PM and I can pass them along.

Will do. I don't usually catch any of the smaller errors on my first read, however.

Hard-covers of Tabitha's Small World, Pearl, One on One, Book of Reuben, and Survivor from Amazon -- $25 altogether. They range in condition from "good" to "like new" so I'm pretty excited! :jammin: I also have Caretakers on the way -- I ordered it a few days ago. I already have The Trap and Candles Burning so I think I'll have 'em all!

*happy dance*

You should enjoy her novels. She's a fav of mine (and not because she's married to you-know-who!). I love her Nodd's Ridge books (her version of Steve's Castle Rock, although there's really nothing supernatural going on there). Pearl is my favorite. I so wish she would (could??) publish the book Steve has in his list at the end of On Writing.......

I'm the same, John. If I catch something on first read while reviewing, it's a big thing. Most publishers/authors are pleased to privately hear about errors before publication, but I had one who came unglued. Startled the heck out of me to be attacked on Twitter for being 'too picky' (lol).

Yup. I've often thought that it must be a mixed blessing to be Mrs. King. She's a fine, strong writer all on her own (The Trap is my personal favorite); it must be frustrating to constantly be overshadowed.

I've read The Trap and really enjoyed it. My plan is to start with Small World and read her books in chronological order so I can catch the little connections.
