How do you know if a book is a trade copy or a BCE? Neither have prices on DJ, right? I know sometimes it will specify on cover page, but when it doesn't??...
Trade PBs are large PBs (softcover). There is usually a price on the right hand side of the back cover--sometimes up top, sometimes on bottom. The only BCEs I've ever seen are HBs.

BTW, I still have the HB Night Shift, if you'd like it :) It's a BCE, in good condition.

Thanks for the info-I remember you saying BCEs sometimes have different paper too, right? I shouldn't be this confused! ;-D I've been looking through my book piles and haven't seen a hardcover of Night Shift yet...

I want to say I responded to this post previously, but I may be mistaken. Mr.Mercedes, but I also bought a paperback copy of Joyland about a week before that. I always check flea markets and yard sales, periodically any way, but I never find good SK hard covers for $2.99 :(
Gotta hit the thrift stores!!!
