I subscribe to this magazine and as I was putting the current issue away in the collection I saw this one and ding ding ding! Thought I would share in case anyone wants to check it out. The article itself is nothing earth shattering, pretty much a rehash of his works and there isn't an interview but I love the cover art and there is a pull out poster on the inside that is wicked cool as well. Couldn't find a pic of the poster to share. Sorry :nerd:

Got my other edition of The Gunslinger today. The first unrevised one. Just as i have the two versions of the Stand i wanted to have the two versions of that book. Things are looking up. Now if i can only fix my printer i can print me a copy of the Plant and i be totally happy.

Kurben, my printer bit the dust a few days ago, too! I went out looking for a new one but they all seem to have freaking fax's and scanners. I only want a freaking printer!!!

You have to remember that the cost of a printer/scanner today is less than just a printer was a few years ago. I have a printer/scanner and it's great.

The Plant. I need to get this as well but I've put it off due to the unfinished factor. I don't know if I can bear the agony of a cliffhanger that will likely never be resolved.

Is it worth reading if it's not finished? I know everything he does is worth reading but is there a cliffhanger?
Sort of but not to the point that I wouldn't read it at all because of it. I've read other stories that have had just as much of a cliffhanger but that was the style of the story. Will it leave you wondering what happened next? Yes, but sometimes that can be interesting, too, if you imagine your own ending for it.

Totally agree. If the story had to end where it did, it was a perfect cut off point. Well worth the read.
