Today the mailman delivered the Cemetary Dance 'Gift' Edition of Faithful by Stewart O'Nan and King. Beautiful! I am running out of room for my King stuff now!!
I meant to say this book is published by Books To Benefit, which is connected to Cemetary Dance. BTB gives proceeds to The Haven Foundation and to organizations that promote cancer care and research.

I finally did it. Both volumes of Secretary of Dreams will be mine. The second volume was a piece of cake to acquire. Bought it from Amazon with my Xmas gift card. Volume 1 however, not so much. I've searched and searched hoping to find this for under 300 bucks with no luck. Had it in my followed searches under ebay, googled and binged the heck out of it to no avail. Last night my luck changed. Lo and behold all the way in Austrailia there was a listing for $150 Aussie bucks which is about $120 US bucks. I asked if they would ship to the US, they said they would indeed and now it's on its way. Paid well under $200 bucks even with shipping added. So happy! =D

Those books are truly works of art! You can tell that the artist, Glen Chadbourne, loves Kings works. His illustrations are magnificent!

Bought Storm of the Century to complete my collection. Havent seen or heard of it in Sweden. It was first when i meet you guys that it came to my attention. I suppose it is a screenplay, not a novel but is said to be good anyway. Very curious about it. Should be here at the end of the month. Trying to find the DVD too but so far have only found it in Region 1 and my DVD only accepts region 2 discs.

I think that is one of Dana Jean 's favorites! :)
I need to buy it on DVD also-I did watch it years ago, but don't own it.

Storm of the Century is my favorite SK movie, I think--definitely the best of the TV movies. I loved the main character, Mike Anderson, and Tim Daly played him perfectly. I hope you can find it in Region 2.

Oh, and thanks for encouraging me to buy Afterlife in Region 2! It was well worth it, and if the region free DVD player ever dies I'll just have to try really hard to find another :)
