I am currently reading an e-book on my laptop, collected, unpublished. I think it's official by rocky wood. and wqs 90 cent. here is a question for everybody? do you prefer your own books or do you prefer library books. at this stage, i have so many books to read, Lady Chatterley's lover, to Ash(james Herbert), I am thinking of just becoming a tv addict and not reading anymore.

Well, - off to put a nail in my coffin with a cup of coffee and q john player red.

Bought Storm of the Century to complete my collection. Havent seen or heard of it in Sweden. It was first when i meet you guys that it came to my attention. I suppose it is a screenplay, not a novel but is said to be good anyway. Very curious about it. Should be here at the end of the month. Trying to find the DVD too but so far have only found it in Region 1 and my DVD only accepts region 2 discs.
Hi Kurben,

Try Amazon.co.uk, Play.com or Cd-wow.com. you will more then likely find q region 2 dvd there. Enjoy:)

New or used, doesn't matter. There is a thread to post your latest thrift/used bookstore purchases (in this thread it doesn't have to be a King purchase) also.

OK. So yesterday I dropped by the used book store after work and picked up It, The Dead Zone, Firestarter, The Tommyknockers, The Dark Half, The Stand, Night Shift and Just After Sunset. I've previously read It, Tommyknockers, The Stand and Dark Half. But I'll re-read them (it's been a long, long time). The others I haven't previously read. That brings my present King count up to 30 books.

I bought a DVD of Misery yesterday at K-Mart. Or Big-K or whatever it calls itself now. I rarely go there. Anyway, it's one I've neither read or seen. I won't watch it until I've read it.

In this case both the book AND the movie are good, but reading the book first is definitely the way to go!

Got a shipment from Amazon yesterday: Night Shift, 'Salem's Lot, It, 11/22/63, The Gunslinger, and The Stand. Unfortunately, my dog got into the package while it was still on the front porch and chewed up the copy of The Stand. The other books were untouched, but I was NOT happy!
