Didn't realize Cumberland was fictional but i guess i should have guessed. I saw a picture where Salems Lot was in. There was also small paintings by each fictional place to remember what took place there. I remember that beside Castle Rock was a picture of a Sankt Bernhard. Saw it here on the board somewhere but don't remember where.
Cumberland is a real Maine town :wink2:
The t-shirt that I posted on the previous page is a sort of map and has little icons by each place. Including a St. Bernard!
This map would be awesome to have.

We took it down because there were omissions and corrections that needed to be made but it's one of many projects that are gathering dust. We never did have it available for purchase but you may have been able to download it--too long ago for me to remember.

Or Cumberland (Carrie)? That might be why it was pulled: to complete the map. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a Talisman map of America, too? I truly love that book--in my top 5 books by Mr. King.
We had some very grand plans to do exactly that sort of thing. There would have been a sort of overlay system in which there would be the real world, the fictional locations, the Territories, and Mid-World. We'd also thought about having it be interactive with photos of the actual locations so that you could click on a spot on the map and have those come up, e.g. the Thomas Hill Standpipe, Paul Bunyan statue, Kennebec Fruit, etc. that related to locations mentioned in the books. We just didn't have the time, staff, or technology (when we first were brainstorming about it) to do it justice.

LOL! Well phooey. It can still be downloaded--everything online lives forever :p--but is it okay to do that? I don't want to step on copyright toes (or rob someone of hard-earned $).

I bought this T-shirt at Bett's when it was still in Bangor years ago and it's long since gone. Stu(prior Bett's owner, current SK Tours guy)has some more! I fixed myself up with one again. If anyone wants one just send him an email through the SK Tours website or if you're on FaceBook you can message him. He said he has all sizes and will ship anywhere.
Nice! Thanks for posting this :tickled_pink:
