After years of looking at the used book stores, today I found TWO 1st edition Hardcover copies of It. A buck a piece from a library book sale. Can anyone tell me how I can determine if I have "first printing" copies?
There must be a price of $22.95 on the inside front flap of the dust jacket (Lawd, this massive book would retail for $50 now!) and on the copyright page it has to state: First Published In 1986 By Viking Penguin Inc. beneath where it says Copyright @ 1986 by Stephen King with no other printings listed (it can't say, for example, Sixth Printing). If this is so, then you've got yourself a great deal/steal!!

I wanted to ask if anyone on here, most likely KRF or John, has bought anything from The Collector website? I'm looking for a slipcase for my H/C Cycle of the Werewolf and they have one. Wondering how they are? Reputable site?

I've bought a number of items from The Collector site and never regretted it or had a problem.

I have purchased slipcases for all of my Dark Tower books, my Cycle Of The Werewolf and my Easton Press edition of The Dead Zone from Thomas. He's a great guy. No problems.
