Thanks for the heads up - need to go to B&N soon!
I was abit irritated with the cashier as I wanted to use my B&N gift card and she had to hand-key in the numbers (I used it once before and the same thing happened at a different store, but still had a balance on it) and she tried it twice and then said that it had nothing left on it. Well, had to use my debit to pay. Came home and checked the receipt from the first time I used it and it says I still have over $18 on it! I knew it still had a balance. Guess I'll have to use it for when The Bazaar Of Bad Dreams comes out.....

I hope they figure it out the next time you try to use it! Maybe she was inputting the numbers incorrectly.

I went to pick up Joyland today and was told that it comes out Oct. 6th. Wtf.
The StephenKing.com page has the release date as 'sometime in September'. I was surprised when I found copies (yesterday) out at B&N because I thought it wasn't supposed to come out until today or next Tuesday (all new releases happen on Tuesdays).

I went to B&N today- had them check on the illustrated Joyland. Supervisor told me it is available for sale now, but they had 4 copies on order that haven't arrived yet. They reserved one in my name, which shows up as a customer order (I guess) and she said this should expedite the process. Hope to get a call from them in the next week or so. Fingers crossed.

A little story:
About a year ago a friend sent me a picture of some artwork that I absolutely loved. I had it saved on my phone to glance at it's awesomeness from time to time. My problem was that I didn't know who the artist was. I looked with no luck and gave up. FINALLY a few months ago I discovered who it was. I contacted him via FB and asked if he did commissions and could he do the exact same picture.. He said he did and would and I got this beauty: Artist Credit goes to Dennis Willman

He did these as a bonus because he felt bad for taking so long which didn't bother me in the first place but hey, I'll take 'em!
