Bought a 1st edition paperback of Cujo in good condition.
Today I came home with a fine hardback copy of The Deep by Peter Benchley. Read it years ago.
Only made it to one used bookstore; but on the way back I saw 2 more I didn't know about. Another day ....
These are my finds, all first editions, Firestarter $8.00/ Thinner $7.00/The Dark Half $8.50/ The Talisman $8.95.
Not sure if I did well or not..... What do you think?

Wnen I was at the bookstore yesterday I saw 2 different editions of Joyland; both soft cover and in mint condition. One would be the size
of a Reader's Digest and the other the size of a magazine. I want the hardcover; so I left them there. Now I am thinking I should have taken
a closer look at them. They were $4.00 each. Anyone have an opinion on these softcovers....

I saw the same one at the Value Village here except it had the dust jacket and was in good condition. It was published by Doubleday and the price was
$4.00. Wondering now if I should have bought it....
Ya done did goodly.... The Firestarter is a real find! Not too many of those hanging around anymore.

The bookstore had 4 copies of Firestarter; book jackets were not in good shape though, I took the best of the bunch.
First edition hardcovers of Cujo and The Bachman Books-- $1 each.
Today I came home with a nice ARC of Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton that I paid $1.00 for!
Snagged a paperback of Insomnia (first printing) in very good condition for a quarter at a thrift store today.

A bunch of old Dean Koontz hardcovers in new condition and an unread hardcover of Carrie (with jacket-- and regular height!)
A real nice hardback copy of The Other by Thomas Tryon from thriftbooks.com Paid about $4 for it (shipping included)!
Picked these up a couple of weeks ago at a used book store that I frequent often. First printing Lancer Conan's from the late 60's, all in VG+ condition. These essentially replaced all of my not-so-good-condition Conan's that I've had since I was a kid. Bran Mak Morn, King Kull and a few others were also in there. Someone had obviously recently brought in their Robert E. Howard collection, because they were not there a few days before. This is why it pays to hit these stores often.
