Okay, so I'm trying to build up my library with classic horror novels from the likes of Ira Levin, Peter Benchley, Thomas Tryon, etc. I've several times stated on the SKMB that I would NEVER have a copy of The Exorcist in my home again as I think it gives off bad-gunky vibes. But, last night I purchased a copy off of Ebay for a really good price. I'm letting you all know this because if some bad-gunky stuff starts happening to me then you all will know that I was right in the first place and to let me know to get rid of that book!! ;-D

Christine and The Stand('78 version)... Both are Hardcover book club editions. I've been looking for the original version of The Stand forever, so I was suprised to find it at Goodwill. The store is right by my house so I go scan for any SK, almost daily.

Nice find and going next door to check for SK is well; I'm so jealous! Like you; I have looked for the '78 The Stand for a VERY long time (and STILL have not
found it). :nope:

Bought The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror Ninth Annual Collection (includes SK's Lunch at the Gotham Cafe) - in very good/like new condition. :)
I wanted to get all of the volumes for my collection but now there's too many of them....I do have all of the The Year's Best Horror Stories that was published by DAW back in the day. There are some wonderful. wonderful stories and writers in those pages...
