Today I found an unread hardback 1st of The Valley Of Amazement by Amy Tan that has a signed bookplate attached to the front first page at Value Village for $2.99!
Today the mailman delivered a nice copy of Writer Of The Purple Rage by Joe Lansdale published by Cemetary Dance way back in 1994. It's an ex-library copy but the DJ is like brand new! There's a couple of stories in it that I haven't read yet, so it's all good. Got it from thriftbooks.com

Louie the Lout got a nickel in Sing Sing for 'defacing the books'.

Not at all - I read them as I stumbled across them. You'll enjoy her.
Yay! Then I can start One on One (hopefully soon!) and not worry about screwing up the order.
While her last few books had some of the same characters in them, it's not really a continuing storyline- each book has a different theme and tone.
Today the mailman delivered Michael McDowell's Blackwater 5: The Fortune (I only need to get part 2 now!!) and a really nice copy of The Shadows, Kith And Kin by Joe Lansdale. It's an ex-library copy but is in excellant condition! Think it was read maybe twice. Dj is in new condition. And, it's SIGNED!! Cost me $8 from thriftbooks.com!
