Just one huh? Well.....there are many times while hiking with David that I will space out and start thinking......what if Zombies started coming through the woods OR what if the TARDIS suddenly appeared? Then before I know it I have missed out on enjoying nature because I was playing through scenarios in my head.

I'm the biggest tea snob south of Canal St in NYC. I use thermometer when making green tea to make sure the temp is right. I won't even touch Lipton, Bigelow or any supermarket variety tea in teabags. Given a choice between Lipton and no tea, I opt for coffee. My Indian and Chinese coworkers come to me for tea info.

Oh, and I also hate slow walkers when on my way to/from work. It's about to get much worse once we move to Times Square (smack in the middle of it) from the Financial District. D@mned slowpoke rubbernecking tourists @#$@^@!!!
What do you think of Tetley tea?

I also like English Breakfast, but will settle for Mother Parker's tea bags at work - tastes better than coffee to me.

I'll drink coffee mainly when I am exhausted and need to wake up - then I'll go to Starbucks.

Have you tried it with Bailey's Irish Cream in it ? - that tastes pretty good

(I also think in Europe they make coffee different - very strong, compared to North America).

Tetley is acceptable if nothing better is available. English Breakfast is a blend - no good in my book. If you want a good wake-me-up coffee alternative, go for Assam or Ceylon teas, they are strong enough.

Okay - thanks for that advice :encouragement::teapot: Growing up with a Scottish mother it was often tea or (believe it or not) instant coffee.

My parents also bought canned evaporated milk and mixed it half and half with water - tastes awful but at least I ended up with good teeth! (twice as much calcium). :facepalm_smiley:

A relative actually made me appreciate a good frappucino from Starbucks when i was over. I still remind him of that, how he led me astray, but he only laughs. But that was not the coffee, that was all the other good stuff inside, (i think caramel was there), more like floating candy actually.

I think we are sidetracking the original topic (being such goofy people that we are!)

I tried this stuff as it was cheaper but it is not as good.

Ha!

I have many goofy azz things.

For example, when I wake up in the morning I have to wash my hands thoroughly before I wash my face. Ha! (Don't ask me why I have to wash my hands, work up a lather and rinse my hands THOROUGHLY before I wash my face. IDK why. )

What's your goofy thing?
I like things to add up to nine - does that make me obsessive compulsive? They do not have to add up to nine but if I can I will choose one thing over another if it adds up to nine.

When i read i often count the letters in a sentence and i like it to be number that can be divided, not one of these numbers (what are they called) that you only can divide with 1 and no other whole number. If they are i'm not happy. VERY goofy!!!

Do you count while you're reading the sentence, or after you've read the sentence? (Quick, how many letters were in that sentence?)
65. Thhats good Did not count the paranthesis...... Usually after. But with King i sink in the story and don't count....

So, did you count as you read or when you were done reading????
If i take just ashort break to take glass of water or something or just to think about what i read the brain starts counting letters in the sentences i've already read. I've always had problems with turning my brain off. I really should have an on/off button on it...... It insists on going on when i want it to take a rest....
