Ohmygosh Ohmygosh Ohmygosh Did y'all watch the third episode? This storyline is really moving fast. It's three episodes have pretty much covered the same ground it took TWD to cover in three entire seasons. TWD is going to have to bring it... especially
the reason the cannibals are cannibals. That was totally gruesom!

I like the comedic moments too :)
In the second episode, the zombie entrails that were hanging from Doc's truck's grill kinda grossed me out but then when Doc discovered his truck was pulling to the left because a zombie he hit was stuck under the wheel well, I had to laugh :) The third episode's ending made me smile too when DJ Qualls' character played the part of the DJ in the film, The Warriors. At least I'm guessing that's what he was doing... I'm not for sure.

I've been watching this show, a couple of epis at a time, to wind down in the evenings for the last few days, and I have to admit that I really like it :) It's campy and funny and fast moving and just generally a decent show--certainly the best thing I've ever seen come out of SyFy. I still loves me some Walking Dead, but this is a totally different type of show. Just finished ep 9 last night, and it was a FABULOUS 45 mins of TV--very, very well done! It will take me a couple of days to finish up, but right now I'm hoping that it gets another season.

I've been eyeing this. Not a zombie girl, but really fell hard for The Walking Dead!
"Z" nation is no walking dead....but it is pretty campy and has some original storylines.

I agree with arista, DJ. It's not a show that's trying to tackle big social/emotional topics like WD, but it's dang fun. The zombies really are the point of this show. One thing that made me cringe, though, was the Detta Walker-type stereotypical shuck n' jive of one of the main characters in the first couple of episodes. They dropped that by the end of the second epi (thank goodness), but it grated me for the first couple of episodes. Other than that, just fun :)
