Now, I wish they would make those DNA results available for places like Ancestry.com -- how cool to have your DNA match to something like that?

3% Great Britain
8% Scandinavian

It made me look up Ireland and the Viking invasions. Way back when - someone did something in 795 AD.

Back then, Vikings were conquering all over that region. Not surprising you have Scandinavian.
Yeah. I should tell Kurben and ask his thoughts. My eldest sister is the only one with brown hair and green eyes. Something was going on.
And, it's amazing the DNA survived through the lineage. DNA can be lost very quickly , just a few generations can lose a DNA strand. Now, that doesn't mean you don't have that ethnicity in your family line, it just means you didn't get the DNA for it. And, that's why they say test everyone in the family you can -- some siblings will get some things you don't and vice versa.

I was 32% Irish and 10% Scandinavian -- maybe we had the same Viking thug raping and pillaging our loved ones.
I would LOVE to have pirate DNA. I'm telling you, the more stuff that showed up, the more thrilled I was!
If there was a such thing as Pirate DNA of course.
