I love the book its so amazing and detailed that when i read it i cant put it down. And the movie rocked, as a child i always had to watch it and i could even repeat lines in the movie just by being asked about a scene. I do hope and pray for a part 2 of either a book or a movie or even better both. So please please please make this possible Mr. King.

I like the book, especially the way Christine bruises her way through the house and up the stairs. I also like the way the story hints at a phantom Christine, showing up in California, perhaps to get the final boy who has fled, after the gang members destroyed Christine. He thinks he's gotten away, and then the book mentions an afterthought concerning him...Excellent way to close the door on this tale. Sorry, I spelled "phantom" wrong, in my earlier comment.

I agree, Mr. King should consider making a sequal. Believe me I would watch it and prolly buy it later. I am fan, and have been for several years of Stephen King. The story line of Christine coming back after Arnie's son/daughter would be a great idea.

Posted By: Sanda - October 13th, 2011 10:19:10 pm EDT

make it where Leigh was pregnant with Arnie's son and the son finds Christine years later i know it never showed them doing the deed but they could have and not told anyone or something am sure mr. king could work this into the story somehow

I really love the Movie Christine and swear i'd drive her evil or not that's how gorgeous she is to me I'm hoping you do a sequel to it where she comes back from being crushed

I would love to see a sequel to this movie. Christine found in a junk yard in 2011 by a young kid who's been promised his first car for his birthday. They could do so much with it, it's unbelievable they haven't made it yet.

The movie was okay but the ending was hilarious. Unlike, (Looks over shoulder at the recording of Cujo on DVR.), that ending.

I love this movie so much, it's one of my favorites, as well as the book, It would be so easy to make a sequel to this awesome story. I'm sure that there are hundreds of ideas out there, i have several myself. The problem isn't writing another story, I think that the problem lies in making another movie without destroying these priceless cars. If there could possibly be any way around that, I think that we could get the sequel that we so crave.

I loved the book, I liked the movie. There were key points in the book that weren't in the movie which sucked. But there is no way in the world they could do a remake. CG effects will never beable to top the way the regeneration effects from the original.

I thought the movie was ok not as good as the book but still, would like to a remake closer to the novel though.
Posted By: Kayla Rae - July 26th, 2010 4:43:30 pm EDT
the movie absolutely sucked in comparison to the book. christine will forever be my favorite stephen king novel, but i almost regret seeing the movie - too much was changed, the characters didn't fit descriptions, it was downright awful. the movie didn't do it justice whatsoever, but then again all of king's writing will never be done extremely well to the big screen - except for the shining, i suppose.

Well, I'm making a speech for school on how Stephen King is the best terror novelist ever and right now I don't have anything else to do except for comment on every single thing I've seen of Stephen King... I guess it helps with my speech. Anyway, saw this movie on T.V. It was pretty sweet. Have the book but haven't had a chance to even start it. I'm trying to finish IT still, it's very long.

WE NEED A SEQUEL !!! WITH or WITHOUT the original actors !! There's too many ways you can do to make it lives again... It would be a gift to us, the fans !!!!

i never read the book but i love the movie. i always thought it would be cool if they made a part two. even if they did not use the 58 fury. i think that it would work if they some how got christine placed in that 68 dodge charger and made it to present date. Dennis and Leigh's son could be given the charger to redo and use parts recycle from christine. christine could try to get revinge. just my in put.

The is one of my favorite movies ever. And this is the time for either a sequel or an updated version. Everything from the past is being remade to modern day and making money from it. I would love to see either one...but please don't use the same car. There aren't many left and due to the popularity of the first movie...they are expensive and I haven't been able to afford one yet. But please, make another one!

Movie! I have read Christine seven times..! I was so excited to see the movie, I thought I'd have a stroke before the house lights fell...The movie was a BIG disapointment.. Where oh where was Roland Le Bay....I can guess that SK was displeased...Footnote: Steven: "The Stand" best in my opinion

Please for the love of god use the same car and make a Christine 2 it is an unbeliveble Movie that i can quote on mute, word for word. ever since i saw that move i fell i Love with it and would do ANYTHING to see a sequel. but it has to have that same car or i could care less about the sequel.

no good movie needs a sequel. Christine was an excellent movie. i do agree that it needs to be updated or re-made to stick closer to the book, but i think a sequel could never do that '58 Fury the justice it deserves. kinda like Sometimes They Come Back. what was the point of a sequel, then a sequel for the sequel?
Posted By: K.T. - May 28th, 2009 4:17:26 pm EDT
I don't think this movie needs a sequel, but it definitely needs an update I loved Christine's scenes in the book, but the movie really watered it down. One big example is the death of the bullies. (whose names I've forgotten.) In the book it was an awesome chase scene ending in a spectacular crash. In the movie, it was a small gas station explosion and one guy getting run down (slowly) by a flaming Christine. Surely today's technology can make this movie more true to the book, and better for it.

I am currently working on my own screen play for Christine since there will not be a part 2 I have to make my own. Its good so far

I agree, this was a great movie, and deserves to have a sequel. I have to agree with carl on the idea for the sequel, but instead of Dennis' son being chased down and killed by Christine... he buys her himself. Their kids could be in their early 20's by then, so the idea of his son buying Christine from that junkyard, and fixing her up just like arnie, brings a whole bunch of possibilites to the story line, and proof to Dennis and Leigh that some evil...just cannot be destroyed.

Christine 2???Stephen??ya out there?...hope ya read this?!!! There needs to be a Part 2 Especially in this day and age of smaller(no personality)cars!Bring back a 50's car!!Although you could incorporate recycling(now a day car)..,....Nahhh..I love the old cars! Christine2!!!!

Christine is my favorite Stephen King book, but I was disappointed with the movie. I think that in order to even think of a sequel or anything else, there first needs to be a remake that follows the book. The movie was okay, but the book was so much better and I think with all the special effects of movies now, they could make Christine into an amazing movie without deviating from the book.

I thought twice about my own car for a while... This is great as a movie. Kept us all on the edge of our seats.

I wanna see Stephen King make the second! WHOS WITH ME!?

Thanks to Stephen King and his book Christine I now own my own '57 Plymouth and am restoring her with them in mind. Would definitely love to see a remake of the original movie that more closely follows the book, which was so much better. Thanks Mr. King for the wonderful journey!

Is there going to be a sequel on Christine? Would love to see one made for 2008-09 The movie ends like a sequel was in place, yet years later, nothing..
Posted By: Carl - October 13th, 2008 1:57:40 pm EDT
Sequel-Arnie's best friend Dennis and girlfriend who destroy Christine at the end of the movie, get married, have kids and live happily ever after. So they think. A movie with the same actors now in their forties or so with their kids grown up to about the same age they were when Christine was last seen alive now comes back to get her revenge. The movement of the grill of what was left of the car let us know she is not dead. I could just see Dennis' son partying with his friends at the junkyard being chased down and killed by the ressurected evil Christine. And now the parents know that they are next for what they thought died that night in 1979 cannot be killed. I think it would be an exellent sequel to the original classic. I'M PURE EVIL , Christine 2. What do you think?
Posted By: Tommy - September 19th, 2008 12:51:24 pm EDT
Im a big fan of this movie and so is my brother is there ever gonna be a part 2 i ask just because the grille moved at the end and it would be nice 2 see a part 2
