Love the series. Waited anxiously for each book. As we all know the books are always better than the movies. But with the news that DT movie is a possibility, who better to play Roland than Josh Brolin.

I just finished all 7 books in the Dark Tower series. The truth behind Roland's quest is the same profound realization we have all forgotten but now remember. Thank you Mr. King....

The story that not only made me realise I wanted to read books for the rest of my life, but that I also wanted to spend my life writing my own. So I did, and I am.

I finally got around to finishing The Gunslinger in just under a week, and while it started off kind of slow, it picked up about midway through and grabbed me from then on. Jake and his story has become one of the best written characters I have ever read about in a story, and the one thing that really bothers me is that I don't own the next book, and I want to read on so bad!
