Stephen at NYer Festival

Stephen will be appearing at the NYer Festival on October 2nd, 2010.  He will be part of a panel discussion on vampires which also includes Noel Carroll, Matt Reeves, and Melissa Rosenberg.  Click here for more information about the Festival.

New Books from Cemetary Dance

Cemetery Dance will be publishing Stephen's short story, "The Crate", in its anthology titled Shivers due to come out in December 2010.

They have also announced the shipping schedule for prior book titles:

THE SECRETARY OF DREAMS (VOLUME 2) from Cemetery Dance Publications will begin shipping on October 15, 2010.

The RIDING THE BULLET Special Edition Double from Lonely Road Books will begin shipping on October 25, 2010.

BLOCKADE BILLY (signed Limited Edition) from Lonely Road Books will begin shipping in early November.

Readers announced for Full Dark, No Stars Audiobook

The readers for the audiobook version of Full Dark, No Stars have been selected. They are Craig Wasson (who was the reader for Blockade Billy) and Jessica Hecht. Recording will begin next week and the CD and download version will be on sale simultaneously with the print edition in November.

JESSICA HECHT has performed on Broadway in A View From the Bridge (Tony nomination) with Liev Schreiber & Scarlett Johansson, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Julius Caesar, among others. Her film credits include Whatever Works, Dan in Real Life, and Sideways. She has also appeared on television’s The Good Wife, Eleventh Hour, Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, and Friends.

CRAIG WASSON’s many film credits include Akeelah and the Bee, Malcolm X, Body Double (directed by Brian DePalma), Four Friends (for which he received a Golden Globe nomination); and Puerto Vallarta Squeeze (written by Robert James Waller). Audio book credits include works by James Ellroy, John Grisham, and Stephen King.
