The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
It's half in English, half in Finnish and half in Swedish. I read SK stories on three different language. Yes you're right Pestens Tid is The Stand.
Well Kuulolla that white book which is on the left top of the shelf is Cell and Liseys Story is next to Cell. Tohtori Uni- Doctor Sleep is
the last book down on the bookshelf. I have organize my SK book in that order I have gotten them.
Wow, 3 languages, that's impressive. I can read in 2 - English and American :)

It's funny, I put "pestens tid" into Google translate on auto detect, and it said it was Norwegian and translates to "plague time". Do any others have such different literal translation?

Book Of The Month Club!! :smile-new:

Hi morgan - I did not buy them but I was quite surprised on Friday. I noticed in our hospital Gift Shop they had volume 1 of Under the Dome, Song of Susannah, The Green Mile, (either Wolves of the Calla or Wizard and Glass - started with W!) and one other that I cannot recall. It is funny - five Stephen King books on a relatively small book stand. I was wondering who orders the books at the hospital.

I just want you to know I am hot and bothered right now! (and frustrated! :shame_pig:

My laptop is propped on a pillow on my lap and there is a lot of heat emanating from it. And it is so much slower than my other computer!
Ah Neesy... get something (and I'm not being rude here) hard/solid underneath your laptop or you might fry it! Bed clothes/pillows and laps are bad, bad, bad for them.

Okay... mind out of the gutter now you lot! ;;D

Thanks! I swear the darn thing just about melted last night - today I am on the desk top - much more ergonomic and comfortable.

Plus this computer is running Windows 8 and is much newer (with more memory or gigabytes or whatever)

Here's a scan of The Storm of the Century manuscript:

I got this off of eBay for less than $34. It looks like the original.

John

We never use a hole punch in the original manuscripts. I can't read the last line as it gets too pixelated when I try to enlarge it but my guess is that it might have been a script from the film set as that's what they sometimes do.
