Post your latest acquired gem here....

(It's actually been awhile for me--does purchasing "Internet Blocks" so that I can hang out at the MB, count?) ;)
For me that was Dr. Sleep. Got it as a christmas gift from my mother. Since i arrived here i notice there is one i haven't read, or even seen in a store here. Thats Blockade Billy. you mentioned it as a novel. Is it as good as usual? I didn't want to go in the site that concerns that book because the risk of spoilers but i am curious about it.

Kurben, Blockade Billy is more of a novelette than a novel. It was published in a number of different editions. It's available from Amazon:

Here is another insight without spoilers....

Blockade Billy is a 2010 novella by Stephen King. It tells the story of William "Blockade Billy" Blakely, a fictionalcatcher who briefly played for the New Jersey Titans[1] during the 1957 season.[2] It took King two weeks to write it.[3]Stephen King had the following to say about the novella:

I love old-school baseball, and I also love the way people who've spent a lifetime in the game talk about the game. I tried to combine those things in a story of suspense. People have asked me for years when I was going to write a baseball story. Ask no more; this is it.[4][5]

****You do not need to be a baseball fan to enjoy the book.

Just picked up from my mailbox, from CD's "dinged" book sale a few weeks ago:
Shivers VII
Revised Illustrated Stephen King Trivia Book
Illustrated Stephen King Movie Trivia Book
for $12, and they are darn near perfect, for being "dinged"!

Also picked up one other that I'm passing along as a gift to another member here, so can't post about it!

I was a day late on clicking the link for this sale. I did get one book, but nothing that was like yours. Mine was $1.99 but the shipping cost shocked me.

Hardback: The Talisman, IT, Eyes Of The Dragon, 11/22/63, Skeleton Crew, Different Seasons, Black House, Song of Susannah.
Paperback, some are extras but I couldn't pass them up! : Hearts in Atlantis, Drawing of the Three, Misery, Four Past Midnight.
Those are the latest, have bought some more within the past month or so, too.
Also found a 1970 copy of Bram Stoker's Dracula ( not related to SK I know, sorry ) in the junk store I found the SK paperbacks in. Not sure how rare that is, if it even is rare, but I couldn't pass it up. That guy had tons and tons and TONS of old school books. I'm talking TONS.. You'd have to dig in and empty boxes out to see everything... You'd have to take down the first rows to see everything behind them on the shelves.. I didn't have time to stay and look :( !!!
