Oh man y'all always get it a little worse than we do. Somehow when it comes over the river and hits the bluff it just goes back up in the atmosphere and away from the ground. I used to work downtown and watch storms do that. I didn't realize it was supposed to be so bad here today. And apparently right as the kids are getting out of school - that should be fun. Stay safe everybody.
The worst part of the storms usually split and go around us to the north and south. I guess being at a higher elevation or something must affect the barometric pressure or something, but a lot of times, very severe storms to the west of us will lost a lot of their punch when they hit the Ozark Mountain plateau that we're situated in.

Windy here again. Don't think the wind has stopped blowing, most of the day yesterday, the neighbor's flashing is about ready to sail away, east wind though so it should blow into their yard rather than out onto the highway good thing hey? Call the BLM Range Rovers.

Wow - y'all must have gotten it big time! Everybody OK? I haven't turned on the news yet this morning. I did hear from a few people that what had been heading out way hit Tupelo - we didn't get much after the morning. I think we'll get some rain today, but no storms. I'm sure Mother Nature will wait and let loose on us this weekend - it is the Memphis in May Music Fest and we all call it Mud Fest - you must wear rubber boots and a rain poncho - and it will rain all weekend. It does during the fest every year.
