The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
Weather today is stupid. I had to the shops before, put a hoody and light jacket on, as soon as I opened the door it started raining. So I put a coat on and cycled to the shops, only 10 minutes away, as soon as I got to the shops it stopped raining. When I was leaving the shops, the floor had dried out, and the sun was shining. As soon as I got on my bike it started p*ssing down. Now that I'm home, sun's out and the rain has stopped.

Raining here, too. Have the truck loaded w/today's job...a job I was going to do as today's customer's wife's weekend is Tuesday & Wednesday...and this other job, out 203, the tenant there tells me when I can and cannot work. Starve all winter and then I can't work when I have work. Not really, had a lot of winter work. But still. But...I have another job out Gay...always wanted to set a shop up out there, change my business name to The Gay Construction Company. Think it'd fly? Anyway, have a somewhat inside job there, removing an old wood garage door, installing a new one, opener (which reminds me our opener busted this weekend, the pulley/gear on top of the box broke) but I'd have to unload the truck to go do that one. The whole country looked like rain on yesterday's weather map...or a large portion of it. Snow in Colorado I heard from one friend. They needed some moisture, too. We don't need it now. Ooga booga. :)

Storming out i don't mind it but Capone freaks out during storms (i think his previous owner left outside during them) but he paces all over the place and drools alot when it storms.

And Capone is your man? Sorry! I couldn't resist! I had a dog that had to be inside, or somewhere, whenever it rained. He worried, paced, and eventually I asked the vet and she wrote a prescription for a pill that helped sedate him. He also disliked the noise from the high school football games, the noise from the 4th of July parade, the fireworks, thunder. This once, I get home from work, the dogs (3 of them) were usually in the kennel, but I get home to find all three sacked out on the kitchen floor. They managed to open not one, but four doors to get from the kennel to the kitchen. They all give me that short tail wag (Springes w/docked tails) and keep their heads down, eyes watching me for reaction. Heh!

Colorado
I read in NPR that Colorado has their "sympathies" for the snow.

Keep the sympathies. Snow is water, water is life, water keeps the forest fires down, and we need it here. Plus remember that Polar Vortex? Yeah, we missed it. Winter was pretty mild. Plus if you don't like snow in May, don't move here. Plus, if you don't like 60-degree days in January, don't move here. Plus all that snow yesterday? At least in this town, it's gone. Sunny, green, and crisp today. The rivers are up. LIfe is good.

So if you give dog a pill it won't affect him negatively?

I don't see how - does it affect a human negatively if they take a pill? You would have to consult your vet for a professional answer. If it's just for anxiety during a storm and you did not use it all the time, it might make the dog feel better overall.

From the good ol Midwest
My old dog Max used to dislike thunderstorms so much he would shake. No pill in the world helped. My two dogs that I have now could care less about storms! Speaking of storms that's all we've been having here! We had a Tornado (not far from me in Cedarville) yesterday that did some damage. Thankfully no one was hurt! Everyone be safe. May Mother Nature calm down soon.
