Hey kids, I just got off the phone with the Travelodge in Mansfield, where Tracy & I and several others will be hunkering down for the Kon....they are checking on the availability of a small meeting room for Friday evening...that way we'll have a gathering spot after the prison tour, someplace to sit down and eat pizza and swill pop...then I reserved a portion of the Golden Corral's meeting room for us on the 19th, Saturday-at 6pm, so that all who wish can join us for dinner...I've told them at least 20 folks, which I think is a fairly accurate number...also, if there is any cost involved for the meeting room Friday...I'll pick it up-but I humbly ask for all to chip in to help defray my cost...

Thanks for taking the lead on this, Scott! My wife has been asking me for more details, so having this kind of structure around the Kon is great to know!

I am more and more envious! I want to come too! Scott, you're doing such a good job pulling it all together. There are so many little behind the scene things that no one but you and your wife will know about. And just when you think you've got things under control you find out there is no such thing as "under control". So everyone be sure to give Scott a big thank you (and maybe some cookies).

Have fun everyone!
...oh thank you sweetheart!...coming from one of the architects of our first event, that is high praise indeed....

...thanks Bob, and let your wife know it won't be without screw-ups and problems...no venture ever is...but I'm trying....my biggest fear is disappointing someone...

....excellent summation...plenty of time to enjoy and visit with one another...for me, the attractions are secondary to the camaraderie....

I can't believe I'm going to miss an opportunity to meet Zombie girl! (and her sweet sister)
Maybe somebody will be able to get me a couple of autographs?
