I don't know if this is the right board to put this in, but as I'm currently reading Wolves of Calla, I've come past the part of Donald Callahan telling his story of what happened in Salem's Lot. I've yet to read Salem's Lot, but I'm curious of what DC is telling to Roland and his ka-tet considered to be spoilers or major reveals of what happens in Salem's Lot? Or is DC just describing his fate and what happened to him?

I'm curious because in the FAQ question, if SK would write a sequel to Salem's Lot, he explains that Wolves of Calla is a sequel in a way to Salem's Lot (and Song of Susanna and The Dark Tower serves as sequels to other books, as well?)

Thanks a bunch! :)

Welcome. DC is only telling of what happened to him in the town of 'Salem's Lot. You should read that book, not because it has ties to the DT books, but because it is a wonderful novel. Plus, it'll scare the sh*t out of ya!

Thank you! Oh, I intend to! :) And thanks for the clarification!

Oh TG, you are in such a good part of the journey to the Dark Tower. It does tie in with 'Salems Lot', and if it interests you, go for it.

I'm hooked on Wolves of Calla! I really like how King introduces us to the world of Calla Bryn Sturgis and the people. Anxious to meet the Wolves!

Biggest shocker so far: Roland CAN dance ;)

Considered to be the least favorite among a lot of other SK fans, Wolves is my favorite of the DT series.

But can he 'twerk'???? ;;D
But would he want to?

THAT would be a sight to see! I think if Roland saw twerking, his face would be expressionless, but he would be horrified on the inside, haha.

I'm quite enjoying it myself :D I love all the different tales being told (I'm currently on the Gray Dick chapter!)

I've JUST reached Part III. The Lady Oriza story was so cool; can't wait to see how dishes play out against the Wolves (what a cool skill to learn! ;)
...so is putting them in and removing them from the dishwasher....;-D
I was just thinking about the day to day usage in our house of "Riza!" :biggrin2:
(I sometimes do not trust those boys... :Oo: )

My son just finished reading Wolves of the Calla and said, "it felt like the entire book was a sales pitch for Salem's Lot" (which he hasn't read yet). He also said, Odetta/ Detta/ Susannah/ Mia is nothing but trouble". I'm dying.
