Any Stephen King books that are "must reads?"

If you're expecting to read what he usually writes, I WOULDN'T start with Joyland. I like the book, but it's becoming more obvious the further I read that it breaks a little from what he USUALLY writes. He added a creepiness to it but it's mostly about a crime that was committed. I guess what they call Hard Case crime stories.
