I generally dislike remakes of movies that were already good and classic in my opinion. It drives me bonkers. Especially the recent ones like "Steel Magnolias" Yes, I know it's a chick flick, but the first one was enjoyable. I will have a hard time watching the remake of "Carrie" too (and will likely skip it entirely). I disagree with all the remakes recently because can't they do something original? As a creative society, we can't be all out of ideas, right?

Love Story came out when I was in high school and the other students were all amazed and enthralled. I thought it was too dreary for words. I tried to keep my thoughts to myself on that one.

E.T. Yeach, what a terrible movie. I mean really, I saw Alien. I know what happens when you let the aliens live and it's not pretty! Just ask Ripley!

Another movie I can't stand is Grease. 50's nostalgia flicks with 30 somethings playing teenagers is just not my cup of tea.

And don't get me started on The Blair Witch Project. I was all excited to see it because of all the hype that surrounded it. MAJOR disappointment. Only movie I've been to where I wanted my money back after seeing it.

The Sixth Sense was a let down as well. I figured out the "surprise ending" within the first 15 minutes. Yawn..........

I agree with Blair Witch. Started out good and then went stupid after that.

I must be the only one in creation who hates almost every zombie movie there is, including 'Night of the Living Dead.' I didn't last more than 20 minutes into that show. In fact only one zombie movie has ever impressed me and now I don't even remember its name.
When I was an EMT instead of a paramedic, we got a call for a man who had deliberately walked in front of a train. I thought that when we got there we were going to be picking up a dead body, but the man was still alive and unconscious. Except that before we loaded him into the rig, the man woke up and started screaming in a way I've never heard before or since then.
He kept telling us to let him die and saying the pain was ungodly. All the way to the hospital he begged us to let him die.
He was brought in on multiple stretchers too because of having so many parts detached from the main body and we found his severed hands inside his pockets.
Watching zombie movies reminds me of that guy but I have no idea why. I just prefer NOT to be reminded of the night we picked up this guy who was suicidal and walked in front of a train in an effort to end his life.

Zombies aren't my thing either, but occasionally a movie or book will surprise me.

Forgot Field of Dreams. I just don't understand the accolades this one got.

We own it. I could explain, but if one doesn't get it, it's not gonna be gettable. Truth be known, I prefer to skip the first 15 or so minutes, though.

Barry Lyndon. I was really trying to like Stanley Kubrick at the time, and the movie was boring and interminable.

No need to explain. I "get" the movie. I just didn't find it all that great or noteworthy.

The Village easily. My Ex & I went to see this in the theater when it came out, I actually didn't think it was too bad up until they got to the ending. It literally pissed me off, and I realize I should have seen it coming, being an M. Night Shymalah film, you know theirs bound to be some kind of corny twist ending, but the ending to this was uncalled for. I have never watched anything with his name on it since and never will.
