Joe is a good writer.

I know the old buzzards that sit in the Nobel committe. Theres is sadly not a chance. They don't consider SF, Crime, Horror or childrens books authors as real literature and therefore not worthy of that prize. Silly asses but there it is.Congrats. Now it's on to the Pulitzer Prize and then the Noble. Don't think so? In a world that has "moved on," it could happen.
It's their loss.I know the old buzzards that sit in the Nobel committee. There is sadly not a chance. They don't consider SF, Crime, Horror or children's books authors as real literature and therefore not worthy of that prize. Silly asses but there it is.

That's okay. If King were to win a Nobel prize for Literature then that would mean even more people would start reading his books and then he would be really famous and people would stop him in the street and ask for his autograph and then.....wait a minute........I know the old buzzards that sit in the Nobel committe. I really should wear my glasses. I thought the title of this thread was "Doctor Sleeping with Bram Stoker award."
Well, it IS much more interesting putting it that way.....I really should wear my glasses. I thought the title of this thread was "Doctor Sleeping with Bram Stoker award."
(Still my favorite)"D@MNIT Dad!" Said Joe.
