I'm late to the congrats party.
So I came with another cake, since the first was completely gone when I arrived.
Congratulations, Mr. King....I'm reading Dr. Sleep right now and I'm in love with it already.

Congrats. Now it's on to the Pulitzer Prize and then the Noble. Don't think so? In a world that has "moved on," it could happen.
I know the old buzzards that sit in the Nobel committe. Theres is sadly not a chance. They don't consider SF, Crime, Horror or childrens books authors as real literature and therefore not worthy of that prize. Silly asses but there it is.

I bet their faces would crack if they smiled. They're also too deadly serious about life. IMO

That's okay. If King were to win a Nobel prize for Literature then that would mean even more people would start reading his books and then he would be really famous and people would stop him in the street and ask for his autograph and then.....wait a minute........
