Well . . . it's kind of a broad question.

The character I most enjoyed learning about as I went along was Harold, but by the end I actually had a lot of respect for Lloyd Henreid.

As for who I think would be coolest to "meet," that would probably be Glen Bateman (so long as heh brought his dog along).

Glendon Pequod Bateman for me. I wonder if Mr King has put a bit of himself into Glen?

Nick Andros. I've never really considered why but maybe it was because he was an outsider. He was deaf but not a victim. He met every challenge he was faced with and ultimately even sacrificed his life to try to save the group.
Tom Cullen and Nick meeting in Oklahoma really touched my heart. I always saw him as a young Ralph Macchio from the Karate Kid. Noble and courageous.
Trashcan Man seemed so childlike and mysterious. Everytime I read it I'm startled at the great characterization. His encounter with The Kid is almost like a David Fincher film. Hilarious and really disturbing.

Stu Redman - the Everyman
Nick Andros - the Innocent
Randall Flagg - if I had to pick a favourite villain in any SK book, RF would be it. You just knew every time he made an appearance, sh*t was gonna go down.

Ugh but they are all so good! Just finished uncut version in a little over a month. I like
1. Flagg
2. Tom Cullen
3. Stu Redman
4. Larry Underwood
5. Glen Bateman

I wish I could meet Glen the most though. He's the one I would love to be friends with. Him or Stu.
