That's twice you've told Hoss he's right......
No "esset" is past tense. I was saying "it's already dead", so to use the verb for "is" and still imply past tense, it's "esset", but in a translator would come out as "was" in that sentence. I don't think "eset" is a word. 'Esset" is the direct word for "would" in a past tense context. But really, there isn't a direct translation for most of Latin to English. Too many languages in between them. But it did help on the SAT vocabulary portion.Don't you mean eset?
