Dazed And Confused sounds like most of the people I see talking on their phone while they are driving. :biggrin2:
It's against the law here in Winnipeg but I still see idiots out there yapping away while driving. Before the law came into effect I would see young women (always young women - sorry!) that as soon as they got in the car and started it would put the phone up to their ear. (it was as if they had to talk to someone while driving) - nuts, eh? what is worse are people texting - now that is just frickin' stupid!

Re-watched Insidious: Chapter 2. Both the first chapter and the second will always be in the top ten of my favorite horror movies. I liked the first movie a bit better, but stil lthey both are good, I have definitely seen worse sequels :) And I can't stop admiring the performance of Patrick Wilson in this part of the movie, he did a great and very difficult job!
Just finished watching the first. Both boyfriend and I liked it - I got some good scares! And I have to find that "Tiptoe Through the Garden" song. Anyone know anything about it?

Watched The Iceman yesterday. I didn't really have any expectations, as most other films I have seen about real serial killers have been quite bad. But this one is fairly accurate, it explains without excusing the crimes. And the guy who plays Kuklinski has succeeded very well, I totally bought him as a psycho!

Quadrophenia (1979) - This has a new blu-ray release and it looks great and sounds great. It takes place in 1960s England and concerns the culture clash between the "mods" and "rockers." A gritty realistic flick with plenty of teen angst and great music. Phil Daniels is absolutely electric as Jimmy. Sting is in it too. I don't know much about Phil Daniels because I don't think he's in US films very often but he sure was great in this. I've seen it several times and it's one of the best rock films.

Watched a bizarre movie called "Melancholia" last night. One of those movies I have no idea why I watched it all the way thru and can't stop thinking about how weird it was. Kirsten Dunst is so friggin strange in the movie...doesn't change the 9.5 on the hotty scale she rates but still...very weird movie.

I saw a strange one a couple of nights ago with Ethan Hawke called "Woman In The Fifth." It was engrossing but I couldn't tell you what it was supposed mean. I'm still thinking about it but have no idea what to make of it. I went to the IMDB page to see what other people thought and no one there seemed to know either. It's on Netflix streaming so if anyone wants to watch it and explain it to me, I'd appreciate it. :biggrin2:

Watched the last 1/3 of Analyze This, with DeNiro and Billy Crystal the other night. Then dreamt I was dating Billy Crystal, but I didn't know it was him because he looked like a gorgeous brunette. Ah, now I remember a line from the movie where he's introducing himself to these mob bosses all sitting around a table and he's there for some bogus purpose and has to gain their trust, and he's naming the aliases he's used, one of which was a female name which he goes on to dismiss because it was tis one night at some place, yada yada...
