You see, here's where I get lost, because Facism = Totalitarian regime, Communism = Totalitarian regime. All regimes are governed by evil humans (and by human evils) who don't care at all about even the tenets of the belief systems which ended up providing them power over the world.

I quote Ferris Bueller who said, "I don't believe in any "isms". I man should believe in himself."

THe Blair Witch Project. (There were some aspects I thought were good, the story started with great potential and then just got stupid.)
I can see that in retrospect, but during the movie itself, I was terrified. I was in my mid-twenties at the time, and for the first time since I was, oh, I dunno, EIGHT or so, I slept with the lights on that night.

Ferris Bueller is an extremely well done movie ... but he's so annoying....

From every clip I saw I had zero interest. Looked dumb. Finally decided maybe it's one of those movies you have to actually watch the whole thing or it doesn't make sense. So, I finally watched it and my only thought was....well there's two hours I'll never get back.

I've also never watched The Breakfast Club, and since they kind of go together in my mind....I'm gonna keep those two hours TYVM. Ditto St. Elmo's Fire.

What are your top 3 favorite movies?

Based on what you said above you should definitely steer clear of any John Hughes movie! (16 Candles, and a few others!)

What comedies do you like?

I liked Dumb & Dumber; almost anything Jerry Lewis; Identity Thief; Ted; Horrible Bosses, Night at the Museum; almost anything Robin Williams; back to the future; ghostbusters; big; bill & Ted.

I do actually like comedies.

But...was Ferris Bueller a comedy? Seriously....I was supposed to laugh.
