Brent easton Ellis or Chuck Palahniuk?

what do I buy fight club or rules of attraction? I've already read less than zero and liked it a lot but I've never read fight club. but I've seen the movie and liked it a lot.

If you have read either writer witch do you prefer?

I'm a huge Palahniuk fan. I voted for Fight Club. I have to admit though, I have never seen the movie! I am not a big fan of seeing movies of books/authors I follow. I probably have seen only a quarter of the movies/TV shows based on SK books.

Don't read Doomed, though!

(Sorry, everyone else. Personal joke.)

He doesn't created very many likeable characters. I've liked a couple of his books (especially Lunar Park) but if you are going to read him, prepare yourself to hate all the characters. :)
Yes - I was shocked when I read Less Than Zero, and I should have known better but I read American Psycho, and then Glamorama just did me in. (He's kind of like the male A.M. Homes). Very dark, disturbingly dark, not dark in a good way -
